Bring the scent of an alpine meadow straight to your home. This handmade scented candle exudes the scent of fresh grass and fragrant hay. Made from 100% eco-rapeseed wax and equipped with an organic cotton wick, it offers you a long burning time of up to 40 hours.

Our scented candle is created in collaboration with GIRL FROM THE MOUNTAIN, a small business based in Mürren in the Bernese Oberland.

100% natural fragrance blend Alpenwiese from essential oils and 100% natural Isolates such as anise, mint, iris, ylang-ylang, cedarwood, Patchouli and vetiver.

• Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface.
• Let the candle burn for at least 2 hours the first time.
• Trim the wick after each use.
• When the candle is almost empty (less than 2mm wax), extinguish the candle immediately to prevent overheating of the glass.

Why is there a hazard symbol on the packaging?

Our scented candle contains 100% natural essential oils. Essential oils are a chemical mixture of many substances, which is why they are classified as chemicals in Switzerland and marked with a corresponding hazard symbol.

If our scented candle didn't contain 100% pure essential oils, there wouldn't be a hazard symbol on the outer box. You could therefore say that the hazard symbol is a sign of quality.

Is the Alpenwiese scented candle synthetic?

No, our scented candle is 100% natural. Perfume oils and paraffins are out of the question for us. We only use 100% natural essential oils and natural isolates for the fragrance mixture. Isolates are pure fragrances that are obtained from plant extracts. The candle is made of eco-rapeseed wax.

Do you make the scented candle yourself?

Our Alpenwiese scented candle was developed and produced in collaboration with the candle professional Girl from the Mountain. Girl from the Mountain is a small company based in the Bernese Oberland. Our scented candles are made in the correctional facility in Hindelbank.

How long does the scented candle burn?

If you take care of your candle properly, you can enjoy it for up to 40 hours. It is made of eco-rapeseed wax, a vegetable wax with a low melting point. This means that it produces less heat when burning than conventional paraffin candles. Therefore, it burns more slowly and evenly.

What do I need to consider when using my scented candle?

Place your scented candle on a heat-resistant surface and let it burn for at least 2 hours the first time. To ensure that your candle burns evenly, it is important to let it burn for a longer period of time. When the candle is almost empty (less than 2mm of wax), extinguish it immediately to avoid overheating the glass.
