We use the fillet of venison for this tender meat. We cannot obtain this in Switzerland in the required quantities. The venison comes from the EU. You can recognize it by the green label.
We only use carefully selected pieces of meat for production and refine them with a selected mixture of salt, herbs and spices. Our dried venison is refined in Swiss butchers. The careful maturing and long air drying process gives our dried venison its incomparable taste. This delicacy can be eaten raw, is available all year round and has a shelf life of up to 3 months.
Ingredients: Venison (EU), sea nitrite curing salt (sea salt, preservative sodium nitrite), glucose, spices, preservative ascorbic acid.
Average nutritional values per 100g: approx. 1640 kJ/391kcal, fat 6.4 g, carbohydrates 1 g, protein 40 g, salt 3.9 g
Dried venison definitely tastes best when sliced thinly. Our sausage and salami slicers are perfect for this.

Where does the meat for the dried venison come from?

Our dried meat is available in two varieties:

Swiss dried venison This exclusive meat comes exclusively from Swiss hunting. You can recognize the Swiss dried venison by the red label.

Dried venison meat Since we cannot obtain the meat in the desired quantities from Swiss hunters, it comes from the EU. You can recognize this dried venison meat by the green label.

What is the dried venison meat made of?
Our dried venison meat consists of the fillet of venison and various spices. A real treat!
Do you make the dried meat yourself?
We produce this delicacy in collaboration with professionals and connoisseurs. The dried venison is refined in various Swiss butchers. Careful maturing and air drying as well as a select mixture of salt, herbs and spices are the secret.
How long does the dried meat last?

The dried meat is vacuum packed and you can store it for about 3 months. The expiration date is always noted on the packaging. Store the dried meat in a cool place in a good cellar or in the refrigerator. After opening, you should consume the dried meat within 3 to 6 weeks.

Don't throw the dried meat away straight away if it's past its expiration date. If stored properly, dried meat can be kept for longer. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee this. We have to write the expiration date on the dried meat. This is a requirement. Unpack the dried meat, smell it and decide for yourself.
