A real Swiss cheese cutter
Every step in the production of this unique piece of jewelry was carried out with care and attention to detail. The hand-forged blade comes from Thomas Lampert's knife forge in Guarda in Graubünden. The handle and base are made of fine Swiss walnut and are produced in our partner workshops for people with disabilities in Switzerland.

A true one-of-a-kind
Each blade, each handle, each base is unique - no two cheese cutters look the same. But the best thing is something you have to experience for yourself: the blade glides through the cheese as if it were made of butter.

More information

Our cheese cutter is made in the Mittengraben center in Interlaken. The center has been employing and caring for people with cognitive or more complex disabilities since 1960. Today, around 50 people work in the workshop. Our cheese cutter is made with patience, careful handwork and great pride.

We use fine Swiss walnut wood to produce our cheese cutter.

After use, wipe the blade with a damp cloth and dry it carefully. To avoid scratches, do not clean the blade under running water, with a hard brush or strong detergent. Do not put your cheese slicer in the dishwasher.

If necessary, treat the base and handle with our Swiss wood butter. The wood butter protects, nourishes and cares for all your wooden objects that come into contact with food. For example, your sausage slicer, cheese slicer, cutting boards, kitchen utensils or your children's toys.
The wood butter consists of vegetable and 100% natural raw materials. Without perfume, preservatives, dyes, solvents or petroleum products.
You can effortlessly cut your semi-hard, hard or raclette cheese with this rustic cheese knife. Take the blade out of the base, lay your cheese down and cut it as if it were made of butter. Make sure you use the right surface. The blade works better with a wooden board than with your kitchen countertop.
