We produce our tried and tested Murmeli herbal ointments, oils and Alpine natural cosmetics in our own factory according to an old recipe using solar power from our own photovoltaic system.
This is the only way we have complete control over the origin and use of the carefully selected ingredients. We rely on external partners to manufacture our fine wood products, fill and label our natural room fragrances and harvest the alpine ingredients for our herbal tea. The social commitment of our partners to people and the environment is important to us.
Company B
The Bernese company B is a competence center for blind, visually impaired and multiply disabled adults. It offers a wide range of support for those affected. The company B manufactures some of our wooden products with a lot of patience, careful handwork and great pride.
SILEA Foundation
At the SILEA Foundation in Thun, adults with intellectual, psychological or multiple disabilities also work with great commitment on our wood products. The foundation supports and accompanies the affected people in the areas of living, leisure and work.
Mittengraben Center
Our third partner for the production of our planes and cutting boards is the Mittengraben Center (zemi) in Interlaken. Since 1960, the center has employed and cared for people with cognitive or more comprehensive disabilities. Today, around 50 people work in the workshop.
TRANSfair Foundation
The Thun-based social enterprise TRANSfair Foundation offers people who are particularly challenged, primarily for psychological reasons, a meaningful and protected workplace. Our room fragrances are filled and labelled by hand by the TRANSfair Foundation.
Bad Heustrich
At the Bad Heustrich Foundation in the Bernese Oberland, young people and adults with learning disabilities or mental disabilities have the opportunity to receive training, work and live in a protected environment. The flowers and leaves for our Swiss herbal tea are collected in the wild and harvested by hand in the Bad Heustrich Foundation's herb garden. The edelweiss plants for our Alpine body care also come from there.
