History

Founder Andreas Schmid has been fascinated by marmot oil since 1981. Inspired by the centuries-old story behind this natural remedy and the rheumatic illness of his father in-law, he began producing the warming salve himself in 1992.

From the beginning, our products have been made by hand with various
local raw ingredients: 100% natural and free from preservatives
and other additives.

Swiss Marmot Balm, warming

100% natural Swiss salve with marmot oil and powerful herbs. A mild long-lasting treatment to warm up your back, muscles and joints. Loosens, relaxes and regenerates. Powerfully penetrates deep into your tissue. Excellent for massages. Can be used several times per day. Also suitable for children.

How to use: apply and avoid massaging in too thoroughly (massages have a warming effect).

Marmot Oil

100% pure marmot oil from the Swiss Alps – free of additives. A centuries-old home remedy. For a warming effect, use as a massage oil for the back and muscles. For a cooling effect, apply to joints, ligaments and tendons. Our tip: use in combination with our salves. One drop of pure marmot oil boosts the strength of our swiss marmot balm.

Swiss Deo Creme

No more bad odours. Reliably protects you from the smell of sweat for up to 24 hours. Handmade, 100% natural and includes many Swiss raw materials. Does not contain artificial preservatives, fragrances or colourings. No aluminium, alcohol, palm oil or paraffins. Available in four varieties: lavender, bergamot, mint and natural.

Application: apply to each armpit with
one fingertip and rub in.

Edelweiss - Hand Salve

100% natural hand salve for worn-out hands. Moisturises, protects and nourishes hands and dry skin. Inspired by tried and tested local recipes that have been passed down for generations, this hand salve is produced with local raw materials from the Alps.

Edelweiss - Foot Salve

Pure, natural foot salve with local Alpine ingredients. Made with high-quality active ingredients from locally sourced plants, animal fat and pine resin. Moisturises, protects, nourishes and gives new life to feet and dry skin. Produced using tried-and tested local recipes.

Hanf Chnübi / Hemp Lotion bar

Legal, potent and rich – our hemp lotion bar offers hand care made with Swiss hemp. Suitable for worn-out skin and lesions. Moisturises, soothes and protects hard-working skin. Not a cream – comes in bar form. Rub the bar onto the skin to treat it with luxurious, locally sourced ingredients.

How to use: take the bar out of the packaging and rub directly onto the skin.

Vogellisi Balm
